Solar mini-grids provide reliable and affordable electricity to remote and underserved regions, particularly in Africa and island Developing States where grid connectivity is limited. ISA supports standardized methodologies, capacity building, and scalable deployment models to accelerate the adoption of sustainable solar mini-grid systems across member countries.

In the past year, our efforts have significantly impacted global solar energy initiatives. We conducted online technical training programs, educating 279 professionals from 40 member countries. Our work culminated in the 5th G-20 Report, “Roadmap to Solar Energy for Universal Energy Access,” which was unveiled at the 4th G-20 Sherpa Meeting in Brazil. Additionally, we convened a high-level G-20 event to mobilize leaders worldwide, furthering our commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
